EVANSVILLE, Ind. - In the fourth part of a six-part series, we introduce two more signees for the University of Evansville men's soccer team. Coming to Evansville from across the Atlantic, Matic Pavlic and Francesco Brunetti enter the fold in Evansville for the 2019 season.
Coming to Evansville from Slovenia, Matic Pavlic adds length to an Aces' team that returns one student-athlete that is taller than 6'2". A 6'6" midfielder, Pavlic joins Evansville from Ljubljana, Slovenia.
After two seasons at the University of the Southwest, defender Francesco Brunetti brings experience to the Aces' backline. Brunetti played in all 17 matches for the Mustangs, making 16 starts and helping University of the Southwest to an 8-8-1 record in 2018. As a freshman, Brunetti bolstered a Mustang's team that won nine games and amassed a 6-2-2 mark in the Red River Athletic Conference.
