Race Results
NASHVILLE, Ind.. – Opening the season at the Belmont Opener, the University of Evansville men's and women's cross country teams posted a pair of solid finishes.
 
The women captured fourth place with 138 points, while the men finished eighth with 170 points.
 
Junior Anna Lowry paced the Aces' women's team, posting an impressive 18:35.99 sixth place finish. Lowry finished just 34 seconds behind Vanderbilt's Grace Jensen who won the meet.
 
Coming in second for the Aces is Jenna Fehrenbacher who posted a 20:32.90 29^th place finish. Bones Parker and Haylee Harmeyer took 30^th and 33^rd respectively, while Sarah Poltrack took 40^th in 21:14.12.
 
On the men's side, Stanley Chepchieng clipped an 16:49.65 race, finishing in 26^th. Enrique Hendrix and Jackson McPeeters finished within a second of each other earning 30^th and 31st.
 
Dawson Hood and Kalen Ochs rounded out the Aces top five with 40^th and 43^rd place finishes.
 
The Aces will be back in action next Saturday (Sept. 7) as they travel to Florence, Ala. for the North Alabama Invitational.
