CARBONDALE, Il. – The University of Evansville men's swimming and diving team posted two school records during the opening day of the Mid-American Conference Championship.

The Aces started off the night with the 200-yard medley relay, teamed by Credence Pattinson, Eli James, Riccardo Domenico and Diego Navarro. The 1:30.27 record breaking time was good enough for fifth place in the event.

Taking fourth in the 800-yard freestyle relay, the team of Brandt Hudson, Zeke Metz, Austin Smith and Oskar Menkhaus set the new school record in the event at 6:39.64

Day two of the MAC swimming and diving championships begin at 10:30 a.m. with prelims, followed by finals at 6:30 p.m.
