EVANSVILLE - In its final regular season game, the University of Evansville women's basketball team will honor its lone senior in a Saturday afternoon meeting with Bradley at 1 PM inside Meeks Family Fieldhouse.

Last Game: Illinois State 68, Evansville 51
- Three Aces finished in double-figures led by freshman Abby Feit (16 points) and sophomore A'Niah Griffin (15 points), while sophomore Anna Newman tallied 10 points.
- Juliunn Redmond paced the Redbirds, scoring 18 points off the bench for Illinois State.
- Evansville was game for the battle early in the game, but the Redbirds controlled the second half to secure the win.
- Despite trailing by as many as nine in the first quarter, the Aces were resilient, battling back in the second quarter, eventually tying the game at the half. Evansville out-scored the Redbirds, 16-10 in the second period, the lowest point total in a quarter for Illinois State since the first quarter against Valparaiso on Feb. 16.
- It was a quick start to the second half that helped propel the Redbirds. Illinois State scored the first six points coming out of the break, forcing an Evansville timeout.
- The Aces again showed its fight as Evansville got back within one just under the five minute mark on a layup by redshirt junior Jada Poland.
- After Poland's bucket, the Redbirds held the Aces to just two points over the final four minutes and secured a 51-44 lead heading into the fourth.
- Illinois State dominated much of the final 10 minutes as the Redbirds out-scored the Aces, 17-7, in the quarter.
- In the fourth quarter, the Aces cut their deficit to single digits twice, but could draw no closer than eight as the Redbirds captured the 68-51 win.
Previewing the Matchup
- Evansville and Bradley are meeting for the 54th time with the Braves owning a 34-20 lead in the series.
- The Aces and Braves met earlier this season on Jan. 3 in the first MVC game of the year for both teams as Bradley earned a 82-51 victory over the Aces.
- Evansville last defeated the Braves on Feb. 24, 2017 in a 73-71 win at the Ford Center in Evansville.
- Despite Bradley owning a 34-20 lead in the all-time series, Evansville is 2-2 against the Braves in regular season games played in the month of March.Â
- A win for the Braves would extend Bradley's longest win-streak in the series to seven games.
- Both teams enter the final regular season contest with their seeds in Hoops in the Heartland all wrapped-up. Bradley have locked in the three seed for next week's tournament, while the Aces will be the 10 seed in Moline.
- It was another strong performance from Abby Feit on Thursday night as Feit scored a team-high points, adding seven rebounds, as well. The performance marked Feit's 23rd double-figure performance of the season as the freshman has only missed double-figures in five games this season.
- Abby Feit hit four three-pointers against the Redbirds on Thursday, the second-most triples hit by an Ace this season. Feit trails only herself in the category as the freshman knocked-down five triples against Illinois on Dec. 15.
- Bradley enters Saturday's matchup with a 21-7 overall record and a 12-5Â mark in MVC play.
Honoring the Seniors
- In all, Evansville will recognize three seniors on Saturday, including a senior athletic training student, a senior basketball manager, and a senior student-athlete.
- Senior Miranda Blocher will be recognized for her efforts as a student athletic trainer.
- Senior Same Nerney will be honored for his work as a basketball manager for the Aces.
- Evansville's lone senior player is Kaylan Coffman, who appeared in 86 games, making 27 starts as an Ace. Coffman has scored 294 points and recorded 263 rebounds in four years as an Ace.
- Earlier this season, Coffman moved into fourth in program history in career blocks with 104.
