Give Today
EVANSVILLE - With today marking Pep & Vim, the University of Evansville's annual day of giving, the University of Evansville men's and women's soccer teams have announced a giving project.
The first way supporters are encouraged to contribute is through purchasing or renewing a UEFC membership.
UEFC provides for the ongoing operational expenses of the men's and women's soccer program, including team travel, equipment, gear, food, and recruiting. With added pressure anticipated on many of our small business sponsors this year, your membership becomes more important than ever!Â
UEFC members have helped enable Evansville to make upgrades to the scoreboard, sound system, training goals, and a full rebrand of the areas surrounding the field at Arad McCutchan Stadium.
The second directive that the programs are targeting for giving this year are improvements to the field at McCutchan Stadium, through new match day goals and new team shelters.
Helping out the effort, an extremely generous donor to UE soccer has pledged a matching gift of up to $25,000 to this UE Soccer Project Fund. In this way, your gift of any size will be doubled.  By achieving our goal of $25,000 from our soccer alumni and friends, plus the matching gift, we will fully fund the cost of the goals and shelters and have them on the field for the fall season.
"Your support will continue to help build and maintain not only a great facility in MuCutchan Staidum, but both our men's and women's soccer programs in the day to day activities of a student athlete," said Evansville head women's soccer coach Chris Pfau. "Both programs want to compete at the highest level and your donations will allow us to buy new equipment and maintain the high standards we set for both of our programs. I want to thank you, not only for myself, but on behalf of the women's soccer team. The future is bright for UE soccer and with your help it will only get brighter."
"Continued improvements to our facilities are a vital part of our recruiting efforts and the game day experience for our fans," said Aces' head men's soccer coach Marshall Ray. "This gift shows a tremendous amount of support for both of our soccer programs and will allow us to make some much needed upgrades to our team shelters and match day goals. I hope we can unlock the full potential of the $25,000 by receiving donations during Pip and Vim and throughout the summer UEFC drive. The more we are able to unlock the better. Please take this opportunity to support our programs and double your money. Thank you for all you do for our student-athletes."
Evansville understands that this is an extremely challenging time for each and every one of our supporters. However, if you are in a position to help, please visit here to make a gift in any amount that is right for you at this time. Â
