CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the 2020 Swimming and Diving Academic All-MAC team on Tuesday.

Six athletes from Evansville's swimming and diving squad earned academic team honors. Representing the Aces were Jacob Bailey (3.20 GPA), Paul Cozzens (3.40 GPA), Zeke Metz (3.51 GPA), Zack Sagan (3.27 GPA), Jacob Sampson (3.46 GPA) and Austin Smith (3.42 GPA).

The team is made up of 44 student-athletes from the five men's programs in the conference.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
