NEW ORLEANS, La. – For the third-straight year, the University of Evansville men's and women's track and field teams earned All-Academic Team honors as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
 
Evansville's men joined 199 Division I programs recognized with the accolade, along with seven fellow members of the Missouri Valley Conference. The Purple Aces completed the 2019-20 academic year with a team GPA of 3.27.
 
The women's program was one of 264 Division I teams to be named All-Academic by the USTFCCCA, with eight programs in the MVC. The Aces posted a 2019-20 team GPA of 3.43. 

"I am honored to have young men and women that work hard at Track & Field and are still able to maintain the high GPA standards that our University demands," UE head track and field coach Don Walters said.  "Both teams have been a pleasure to work with under adverse conditions."
