MVC Scholar-Athlete Release

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - After a tremendous season on the field, University of Evansville men's soccer redshirt junior forward Jakub Hall has been selected to the Missouri Valley Conference's Scholar-Athlete First Team, it was announced by the Conference office on Wednesday morning.

Hall enjoyed a breakout season in 2021, leading the team with four goals on the season and finished tied at the top on the team with three assists. Hall scored twice in a 2-0 win over Drake on Oct. 31 that helped the Aces advance to the MVC Semifinals. Off the pitch, the management major received the MVC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award in 2020-21 for his work in the classroom.

Hall is the first Ace to be named to the MVC's scholar-athlete first team since Jesse Stafford-Lacey in 2019.
