EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville track and field team gets set for the 2021 Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships.

• The MVC Indoor Track and Field Championship gets started at 11:30 a.m. CT with the men's weight throw. Track events begin at noon with the men's 60-meter hurdle prelims. Session 2 with the women's events begins at 5 p.m. with the weight throw, followed by track events at 5 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday's events begin at 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. respectively with the multi-events.
• During the 2020 Indoor Championship the Purple Aces where lead by Anna Lowry who wrote herself into the UE record books in a spectacular fashion, capturing second place in the 5,000-meter (16:53.18) and third place in the 3,000-meter (9:50.99), becoming the first Evansville track and field athlete to earn MVC first team all-conference accolades.
• Joey Rucinski took 10^th place in the heptathlon, setting a new school record with 3,922 points, while Justus Donaldson came in 11^th at 3,619 points.
• Also scoring points for the Aces was Ian Alberts, who posted a tie for eight place at 4.66-meters on the pole vault.
• All three days of the MVC Indoor Championship will be broadcast on ESPN3. The stream will begin at 4:45 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, while activities will begin at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday.
