The Purple Aces competed in two events in day on of the meet.
Michael Boots and Zach Dove led the way in the men's discus. Boots registering a 44.55-meter throw, finishing in sixth, while Dove finished ninth at 41.85-meters.
On the women's side in the discus, Brittany Corley finished 18
th (25.75) and Baylee Geng ended the day in 19
th (25.75).
Day two of the Bill Cornell Invite will begin at 10 a.m. tomorrow with the men's javelin throw, with running events starting at 12 p.m.
