EVANSVILLE, Ind. -  The University of Evansville women's swimming and diving team heads to the 2021 Missouri Valley Conference Championship, hosted in Carbondale, Ill. 

• The MVC Swimming and Diving championship begins at 10 a.m. CT each day of the three day meet, with prelims, followed by diving and final heats later in the day. 
• Last year at the MVC Championship the Purple Aces finished in sixth place and put five on the MVC All-Conference team, including Sonsoles Aguayo, Natalie Gerard, Sarah Jahns, Fae Keighly, Sarah Kempf and Sage More, all five will be competing this weekend. 
• Jessie Steele holds the eighth fastest 100-freesyle (52.18) in the MVC, which she set at the tri-meet against Southern Illinois and Illinois State. 
• Sarah Jahns holds multiple top-10 times in the Missouri Valley, including the fifth fastest 1,000-yard freestyle at 10:14.99 and fourth in the 200-yard backstroke. 
• Iryna Tsesiul is the second fastest in the 50-yard backstroke at 26.11, while also ranking 14th in the 100-yard backstroke.
