Last Time Out
- UE took on Indiana State in a doubleheader on Wednesday...the Sycamores opened the day with a 6-3 win before UE took game two by a 12-4 final
- Eryn Gould recorded five hits in seven at-bats while posting four runs and two homers in the doubleheader
- Katie McLean and Mea Adams each hit home runs of their own...for Adams, it marked the first of her UE career while McLean's was her second one of the season
- The 12-run effort was the second-most for UE this season, behind the 13 scored at Alabama State, most against an MVC opponent since plating 13 at Drake on April 9, 2017 and the first 12-run home game since a 12-7 victory over Northern Illinois on March 1, 2014

One of the Best
- In the Indiana State doubleheader, Eryn Gould went 5-for-7 with two home runs, four runs scored and 11 total bases as she continues to rewrite the UE record book
- She is currently batting .459 and is just two at-bats away from reaching the threshold for a single-season school record...at her current pace, she will smash Evansville's single-season hitting mark, which is currently held by Staci Hatz, who batted .408 in 1998...Hatz is the only player to bat .400 over the entirety of a season for UE
- Her average is currently 2nd-best in Missouri Valley Conference history and she is currently on a 9-game hit streak, UE's longest of the season to this point
- Her .585 on-base tally ranks 10th in the country while her average is 17th...she has reached base safely in 33 out of 35 games this season and has gotten even better in MVC games - reaching base 65.5% of the time

Going Yard
- Mea Adams recorded the first home run of her UE career in the second game of the Indiana State doubleheader and finished the game going 2-3 with three RBI, two runs scored and a walk
- Her season batting average stands at .326

Finding a Way
- Returning to Cooper Stadium following a long road trip was exactly what Katie McLean needed to get back on track; in the Indiana State doubleheader, McLean went 3-6 with a home run and three RBI
- She entered the day mired in a 3-for-25 slump but rebounded in a big way
- For the season, she ranks second on the UE squad with a .450 on-base percentage and is hitting .279
