EVANSVILLE, Ind. – After  20 days off the University of Evansville track and field team is back in action at Indiana State for the Sycamore Open on April 24. 

• The Sycamore Open will begin at 11 a.m. with field events with track events starting at 1 p.m. with the 5,000-meter run. 
• Last time out at the KWC Twilight Invitational the Purple Aces men's team won the event with 194 points, while the women finished in second at 130.5 team points. 
• At the Twilight Invitational on April 2 the Aces set three school records, including Zach Dove setting a new program record in the discus throw (47.51-meters). 
• Running unattached at the Jim Vargo Invitational, Anna Lowry smashed the UE 10K record (34:44.37) to now hold ever track and field distance record for the Purple Aces.
