EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- For the second straight meet the University of Evansville track and field teams will travel to Indiana State, on May 7, to compete at the Pacesetter Invitational.
- The Pacesetter Invitational will begin with the javelin throw at 11:30 a.m. CT, while the track events are set to start at 12:30 p.m. CT with the 100-meter trials.
- Last time out for the Purple Aces, Michael Boots set the program record in the weight throw with a toss of 49.97-meters, at the Sycamore Open.
- Also at the Sycamore Open, Kylee Peck broke the program record in the high jump with a 1.60-meter leap.
- Anna Lowry is set to run the 1,500-meter race, where she holds the school record 4:36.67, which is the 13th fastest in the Missouri Valley Conference this season.
- Lowry also holds the second fastest 10,000-meter time in the MVC this season and 24th in the NCAA East Region, setting the school record, at 34:44.37.
- Justus Donaldson has the third best javelin attempt in the MVC this season at 49.39-meters.
- This meet will serve as the final tune up for UE before the MVC Outdoor Championship, held in Carbondale, Ill. on May 14-16
