EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Membership is officially open for the Buckets Club, which serves as the official booster club for the University of Evansville women's basketball program.
Each and every supporter makes a difference as the Purple Aces climb up the ranks in the Missouri Valley Conference. In its short time in existence, the impact of the club has been felt at every level of the program. Projects that have already been completed include:
- Team lounge renovation (completed in summer of 2020)
- Home and away uniforms
- Sleeper bus for longer road trips
- Rehab room accessories
- Practice agenda board
- Game goal board for practice facility

Since joining the Purple Aces program as head coach in April of 2021, Robyn Scherr-Wells has generated a new level of excitement around the UE program. Her system will be a fast-paced brand of basketball that supporters and players alike will enjoy. In a short amount of time, she has set the foundation for the program, assembling a tremendous staff while signing her first class of student-athletes that will blend in with the returners for the 2021-22 season. While the on-court work is a year round process, the staff has established projects off the court that will assist in building a championship contender. Future plans included an upgraded film editing system, updated branding and graphics in the practice facility, furniture additions to the practice facility, new logos to be placed in the locker room and much more.
Having the resources both on and off the court are pivotal to building a program that will compete at the highest level of women's college basketball. The support of the Buckets Club makes all of this possible.
"As we work hard to build our program into a championship contender, we need the support of the Buckets Club more than ever. I am committed to building a program that our fans and alumni will be proud of both on and off the court," Scherr-Wells exclaimed. "Our staff will recruit student-athletes that possess high character, will succeed in the classroom, and will thrive in our up-tempo style of basketball. I am excited about what we are building and I cannot wait for you to see how hard our Purple Aces will play."
Three different levels are available for Buckets Club membership. Thre three available tiers are descrived in full detail below:
All-Conference - $150-$299
- Buckets Club newsletter
- Scoreboard recognition
- Autographed poster
- Buckets Club t-shirt ($20 value)
All-American - $300-$999
- All Layup level benefits
- Invitation to two (2) practices per year for
two (2) people
- Buckets Club branded pullover ($50 value)
Champions - $1,000+
- All Layup and Free Throw level benefits
- Photo with UE women's basketball team and staff
- Dinner for two with the coaching staff
- Buckets Club branded jacket ($75 value)
- All-Access opportunity to travel with the team to
SIU Carbondale, Indiana State or a select game during
non-conference play. Includes transportation, lodging
(if applicable), meals with the team, access to practice,
shootaround, team meetings and the game ($250 value)
- Membership in the University of Evansville

Additional Household Membership - $150
- This person receives All-Conference benefits
- Gear will be branded at the primary member's level
- The other person MUST be living in the same
household as the primary member
