ST. LOUIS - After a strong performance in goal, University of Evansville men's soccer goalkeeper Jacob Madden has been named Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced in a release from the Conference office on Tuesday.
In just his third match since returning between the posts, Madden put on an incredible performance in goal to earn the Aces a scoreless draw versus Loyola. Evansville is back on the road this weekend with a trip to Springfield, Mo. to take on (RV) Missouri State on Saturday at. 6 PM.
