Purple Aces Club hospitality to return this season

11/10/2022 2:00:00 PM

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Beginning on Wednesday, November 16, when the University of Evansville men's basketball team faces Southeast Missouri State, the Purple Aces Athletics Department will be facilitating the return of the Purple Aces Club hospitality area at the Ford Center.

The Old National Suite Club inside the arena will be the site of the hospitality area and is set to open 60 minutes before each home men's basketball game and will close shortly after tip.  This hospitality area is open to University of Evansville Stakeholders that contribute $2,500 or more to the university along with PAC members that contribute $1,000 or more total to any of the department athletic funds.

"The Purple Aces Club is going to play a pivotal role in the future of UE Athletics. We want to grow the number of Purple Aces Club members over the next several months/years, and in addition to that we want those generous supporters to have opportunities to spend time with one another," UE Director of Athletics Dr. Ziggy Siegfried said.  "They will be able to do just that by attending the Purple Aces Club Hospitality area prior to men's basketball games at the Ford Center."

"It is important to remember that being a member of the Purple Aces Club is simple. You just contribute to any of the sports/funds in the Athletics Department. With your support, we will continue to awaken the sleeping giant, the Purple Aces!"

PAC Hospitality will include a chalk talk from a member of the UE men's basketball coaching staff that will discuss the opponent for that game.  Complimentary water, soda and popcorn will be included for all guests and hand-carved fresh meat sandwiches are available for purchase for $14 per person.  Sandwiches will come with chips.  Alcohol will also be available for purchase at the bar area inside the suite.

Individuals will need a hospitality credential to enter the suite.  Eligible UE donors will be given a total of four passes for their families.  The passes are valid for the entirety of the 2022-23 season and will be available for pickup just outside the suite beginning on Nov. 16 and prior to each home game.  Fans can access the suite by entering the Ford Center through the main lobby and taking the elevators to the 3rd floor.  Once they reach the 3rd floor, take a right out of the elevator to get to the suite where a UE athletics department representative will be on hand to greet all guests.

Donors to any of the UE athletics funds at the $1,000 level are eligible to receive hospitality passes.
