How do you become a member of the Purple Aces Club?
You can become a member of the Purple Aces Club by contributing to any fund that supports the University of Evansville Athletics Department.
Those funds are:
- AD’s Aspire Fund
- Aces Assist Club (Men’s Basketball)
- Bucket's Club (Women’s Basketball)
- Spiker's Club (Volleyball)
- Baseball Excellence FundÂ
- Men’s & Women’s Track & Field/XC Excellence FundÂ
- UEFC (Men’s Soccer)
- Women’s Soccer Excellence FundÂ
- Softball Excellence Fund
- Men’s & Women’s Swimming & Diving Excellence Fund
- Men’s & Women’s Golf Excellence Fund
- Aces Spirit Excellence Fund
Is my gift to the AD Aspire Fund or a specific fund tax deductible?
Yes and no. University of Evansville is a 501(c)3 tax-deductible organization. An acknowledgment letter will be sent to you upon receiving your gift and will serve as a receipt of your contribution. Different Funds include different specific benefits. No matter what, you are always a Purple Aces Club member. If any of the benefits include tickets, gear, etc. that will be deducted and stated in the acknowledgment letter sent to you. As with any tax inquiry, you should consult with your tax advisor.
How is my money used?
Your gift will contribute to the future success of our student-athletes. Funds contributed to the AD’s Aspire Fund goes to support the greatest needs determined by the Athletic Director on an annual basis. Each individual fund goes back to that specific program. Both the AD’s Aspire Fun and each Specific Fund is focused on enhancing our programs for the benefit of our athletes and coaches. We need your continued help and support more and more each year as Aces athletes strive to achieve success in competition.
