The Buckets Club is the official booster club for the University of Evansville women's basketball program. Each and every supporter makes a difference as the Purple Aces climb up the ranks in the Missouri Valley Conference. In its short time in existence, the impact of the club has been felt at every level of the program. Projects that have already been completed include:
Renovations in the team lounge were
completed in 2020
- New UE branded couches in team lounge and locker room
- New uniforms
- New film editing system
- New logos in locker room
Since joining the Purple Aces program as head coach in April of 2021, Robyn Scherr-Wells has generated a new level of excitement around the UE program. Her system will be a fast-paced brand of basketball that supporters and players alike will enjoy. Entering her second year with the program, she has set the foundation for the program. While the on-court work is a year round process, the staff has established projects off the court that will assist in building a championship contender. Future plans include updated branding and graphics in practice facility, team leadership building, video editing support and updated cardio equipment.
Having the resources both on and off the court are pivotal to building a program that will compete at the highest level of women's college basketball. The support of the Buckets Club makes all of this possible.
