ST. LOUIS – On Wednesday, the Missouri Valley Conference announced its 2025 Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete Team.   Mallory Russell represented the University of Evansville as a member of the second team.
 
Russell, a Health Services Administration major, holds a cumulative GPA of 3.90.  She completed the 2024-25 season with a stroke average of 77.00, which was third on the Purple Aces squad.  She saw action in 27 rounds with 20 finishing with scores in the 70's.
 
Her low round of the season saw her post a 70 in the final round of the Coyote Creek Classic where she tied for the top spot on the individual leaderboard with a 3-round score of 224.  Russell earned a 9^th place finish at the Braun Intercollegiate to complete the fall.
 
In the spring, Russell finished in the top five on three occasions including a tie for second at the ASU Spring Classic.  She also took third at the Nevel Meade Collegiate and 5^th at the ISU Spring Invitational.
