BARTONVILLE, Ill. – Trinity Dubbs posted the low round for the University of Evansville women's golf team in the final round of the Coyote Creek Classic at Coyote Creek Golf Club.
Final Results
Dubbs registered a 77 in the final 18 holes to tie for 42
nd in the final standings. She finished at 42-over in the three rounds of play. Evansville's top finisher was Jane Grankina. She tied for 25
th while completing the weekend at 27-over. Her low score came in the opening round on Sunday where she finished with a 5-over 77.
Mia McGraw was 49
th on the final leaderboard. She scored an 88 in Monday's final round to finish the event at 52-over. Frankie Leigh Nicholes finished fourth on the Purple Aces squad and 51
st overall. She carded an 89 in the last round of play. Adeline Wittmer rounded out the team with a 98 in the final 18.
Evansville came in 9
th place in the final team standings. Bradley took top honors finishing at 64-over. They defeated Idaho State by three strokes. Logan Bentley from Oakland was the top individual finisher. Highlighted by an even 72 in the first round, she wrapped up the tournament at 9-over to defeat Peyton Coburn from Bradley by one shot.
