EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Making its longest Missouri Valley Conference trip of the season the University of Evansville softball team travels to Drake for a 3-game series this weekend. Weather has altered the schedule with a single game set for Friday at 2:30 p.m. and a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m. with all three games carried on ESPN+.

MVC Pitcher of the Week
- Kate Ridgway tossed her second no-hitter of the season against Indiana State and won three games on her way to MVC Pitcher of the Week accolades on March 24
- In 18 2/3 innings of work last week, Ridgway allowed just one earned run while striking out 16 batters
- With 80 strikeouts, Ridgway ranks second in the MVC while her 6.72 strikeouts per seven innings is 4th in the league
- Ridgway opened the Murray State series with her second shutout in a row as she threw seven scoreless frames

Another Home Run
- With her team trailing 2-1 in game two against Indiana State, Brooke Voss hit a 2-run homer and her team never looked back as they earned the doubleheader sweep
- Voss added her 6th home run of the season in game one versus Murray State and is tied for 6th in the MVC with her tally
- Other stat rankings for Voss include total bases (9th | 59), slugging percentage (15th | .593), runs (15th | 21), extra-base hits (T-10th | 12)
- Voss' season batting average of .308 is second on the team and opens the Drake series with a 4-game hit streak

Raising the Bar
- With a .379 batting average, Niki Bode leads the Purple Aces but her efforts in MVC games has been even better as she checks in with a .412 average
- Bode went 4-for-7 from the plate in the doubleheader sweep against Murray State
- With 10 doubles on the season, Bode is tied for 2nd in the league

- Ashtyn Holbrook has started each of the last 13 games and has been a pivotal bat in the Evansville lineup
- She opened the Murray State series with a solo home run before hitting a grand slam in the game two victory
- In 11 MVC games, Holbrook has four home runs and nine RBI
