LEXINGTON, Ky. – Omar Khalid and Julian Kiessling finished in the top 15 as the University of Evansville men's golf team completed the Bluegrass Collegiate Invitational at the Big Blue Course at the University Club of Kentucky on Tuesday.
Final Results
Khalid was the top finisher for the Purple Aces as he finished in a tie for 12
th place with a 220. After opening with a 70 on Monday, he posted scores of 72 and 78 to complete the event. Finishing two strokes behind him was Kiessling. Identical rounds of 75 on Tuesday saw the sophomore tie for 15
th place with a 222.

Jamison Ousley came home in a tie for 45
th place. His low round came in Monday's first 18 holes as he carded a 72. His final two rounds finished at 78 and 79. Fourth in the Purple Aces lineup was Andrew Rottschalk. After beginning the tournament with a 79, he posted scores of 78 and 76 in the final two rounds. His 233 tied him for 62
nd.

Daniil Romashkin wrapped up the tournament with a 234. He improved in each round starting with an 80 before finishing with a 78 and 76 in the final two rounds.

Evansville took 7
th place with a final score of 901. They were one behind Tennessee Tech for 6
th. Kentucky took the team championship with an 858. They bested Marquette by four strokes. Cole Stockard of UK and Vinny Cervantes of Marquette tied for the individual win with totals of 213.
