EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Evansville baseball team begins a big week at Charles H. Braun Stadium on Tuesday when they host the SIUE Cougars for a midweek contest. First pitch for Tuesday's game has been moved from 6 p.m. to 4 p.m.

- After a slow start to the season, Kenton Deverman has returned to form in MVC play
- Over 23.1 innings against conference foes, Deverman has posted a 3.47 ERA and struck out 27 while limiting opponents to a .233 batting average
- Deverman has turned in strong starts in each of the last two weekends, leading the Aces to crucial MVC wins over Belmont and Indiana State while allowing only three runs in 12 innings
- Deverman has once again established himself as one of the top command artists in the country, ranking 22nd nationally in strikeout-to-walk ratio at 6.22

Home Sweet Home
- Evansville returns home this week after playing the last eight games on the road
- The Aces will play eight of their final 11 games at Charles H. Braun Stadium
- Since MVC play began on March 27, Evansville owns a 6-2 record at home

Midweek Man
- Freshman left-hander Jack Willhite will make his fourth consecutive midweek start on Tuesday
- After totaling 4.2 innings pitched across his first four appearances, Willhite has tossed 12 innings in his last three outings
- In last week's midweek start at Southern Indiana, Willhite notched a career-high three strikeouts in four innings
