EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The University of Evansville athletics department has announced accomplishments in revenue generation, attendance, and creative content during the 2025-26 academic year.
In all, seven new records were set for best revenue for individual sports and seasons, while three programs saw notable increases in attendance from previous seasons, and engagement through UE Athletics social media accounts saw a significant increase compared to the 2024-25 seasons.
Fall Sports Revenue Record
Fueled by a regular season title, thrilling wins over Power 4 opponents, and excitement surrounding a new coaching staff for a program filled with local talent, the fall season saw a new mark set in overall ticket revenue. Not only was it a new record, but the previous mark was smashed with revenue jumping 20% compared to the previous fall sports high.
Volleyball Revenue Records
Welcoming in a new staff and a new crop of players with a local flavor, head coach Zach Weinberg built a competitive schedule and a young, exciting roster that helped build a fanbase quickly. Volleyball broke records in all three facets of ticket revenue (season tickets, group & gate, and overall revenue) the only Aces team to do that this year.
Baseball Revenue Records
A resurgent Aces baseball team saw two revenue records fall in 2026 in group & gate and overall revenue, powered by a competitive team and a strong schedule including a home series against NCAA Regional qualifier Kentucky.
New Revenue Streams
Putting a focus on finding creative new ways to generate revenue and provide new experiences and opportunities for Aces fans, the UE Athletic Department raised over $50,000 through various new streams, including the Aces 50/50 Raffle and special ticketing packages.
Volleyball Attendance Increase
Going hand-in-hand with increases across the board in ticket revenue, UE Volleyball also saw a year-over-year increase in attendance. The Aces raised their attendance by 31% compared to the 2024 season, including a sellout against B1G foe Michigan State.
Baseball Attendance Increase
Along with new marks in overall revenue and group & gate revenue, the Aces baseball team also set an impressive mark in attendance. Evansville averaged 420 fans per game at German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium, it's most in a season since at least 2012-13
Education Day Attendance Increase
Evansville saw it's annual Education Day game earn a massive increase in attendance. The Aces welcomed 5,561 fans for its Education Day game, its most since 2017.
Most Viral Moment
As part of an increased focus put on social media and creative content, UE saw the effort pay off. In November, the Aces magnified a viral moment from a UE Men's Basketball game, generating more than 20 million impressions and earning placement on ESPN and various sports and news platforms, marking the most impressions for a single moment for Evansville since 2019.

Women's Soccer Attendance Increase
With a competitive schedule and an exciting team, the Aces women's soccer team raised its average attendance by over 30%!
