2008-09: Named a MVC scholar-athlete…had the team’s best time in the 200 back…posted her best times in the 100 back, 200 back and 200 IM at the MVC Championships…placed third in the 200 backstroke versus Eastern Illinois…ranked sixth in the 100 back at the Illinois State/Missouri State dual…finished third in the 200 back at the Butler Quad Meet.

2007-08: Had the team’s best time in the 200 back…had the second best time in the MVC in the 200 back…won the 200 back at Butler…finished first in the 100 and 200 back at Illinois State…took first place in the 100 back at Rose Hulman…won the 200 back at IUPUI. 

At Notre Dame:  Four year letterwinner in swimming...a USS All-American in the 200 medley relay...crowned most valuable swimmer in each of her four years of high school...was conference champion three times in the 100 back...took fourth in the 100 free and the 100 back in 2006 state high school meet...helped in leading Notre Dame to a third place finish in the state of Kentucky.

Personal: Daughter of Robert and Sharon Sluka...majoring in exercise science and physical therapy.
