Biography
2010-11: Swam mostly relays and exhibitions for the Aces…posted a career-best time of 2:03.10 in the 200-free at the MVC Championships…helped the 200-free relay team earn a first place finish at Illinois State on Oct. 15…placed fifth in the 1000-free at Missouri State on Jan. 27.
2009-10: Added valuable depth to the Aces’ freestyle… earned her top times of the season in the 100, 200 and 500 free at MVC Championships.
At American School of The Hague: Earned four letters while at Lake Park High School and American School of The Hague…qualified for Dutch Nationals in 2008…team MVP in 2008 and 2009…team captain from 2006-2009…holds four records for the American School of The Hague…placed ninth at Illinois Sectionals in 200 free…named to numerous all-academic teams… also on dance team.
Personal: Daughter of Steven and Sheila Van Wyk…majoring in exercise science.
