2011-12: Finished in fifth place in the 200-breast against Missouri State on Jan. 27… placed 17th at the MVC Championships in the 100-breast and tied for 21st in the 200-breast…posted season-best times in both the 100-breast and 200-breast at the MVC Championships…ended the season ranked 5th on the team in the 100-breast.
2010-11: Posted career-best times in the 200-IM, 100-free and 100-breast…placed 23rd in the 200-IM at the MVC Championships…finished 15th in the 100-breast and 19th in the 200-breast at the MVC Championships…placed 6th in the 100-breast at the Delta State Invitational with a career-best time of 1:08.88…Named MVC Scholar-Athlete.
2009-10: Earned top personal times in 50 free and 100 breast at MVC Championships and 200 IM at Indiana Intercollegiate…placed second in the 100 breast against Southern Illinois…finished third in the 100 breast at Eastern Illinois and St. Louis.
At Wood Memorial: Earned four letters for the Trojans…three-time swimming MVP…earned the Wood Memorial Academic Athletic Award…All-Academic player.
Personal: Daughter of Mark and Beth Schmitt…expects to major in athletic training/physical therapy.
