2011 -- Honorable Mention All-Missouri Valley Conference…Played in all 17 matches with 16 starts…Totaled one goal, one assist, three points, nine shots, and four shots on goal…Scored the game-winning goal in UE’s season-opening 2-0 win over IUPUI (9/2)…Recorded an assist in UE’s 2-1 loss to Indiana (10/26)…Helped the Aces’ defense record three shutouts.

2010 – Third team selection on the NSCAA All-Midwest Region Team...second team all-Missouri Valley Conference...UE's 2010 Defensive Most Valuable Player...outstanding marking back who helped the Aces post six shutouts...excellent at winning balls and starting the attack from his outside defender position on the right side...started in all 17 matches in which he played...made three assists–against Central Arkansas, Belmont and Alabama A&M.

2009 – UE's Newcomer of the Year...All-MVC Tournament selection and one of the top newcomers in the Missouri Valley Conference...stepped into UE’s back four as a newcomer and helped the Aces hold opponents to 25 goals, the second fewest since 1992...right side defender who played consistently well as a marking back...made assists in win over Western Michigan and in victory over #1 seed Missouri State in the semifinals of the MVC Tournament...good distributor of the ball.

2008 – Played in 19 matches, including 10 starts, for nationally ranked University of Akron...started all four post-season contests for the Zips, who reached the NCAA Sweet 16 and finished with a 17-2-4 record...member of a defensive unit that led the nation in goals-against average at 0.45 per game...scored his first goal in 8-0 win over Wright State.

2007 – Redshirted as a freshman at Akron.

High School/Club – Club and high school teammate of UE’s Robby Lynch...career leader in goals, assists and total points for six-time state champion Carmel Cosmos, who were ranked as high as second nationally...IHSAA Tournament MVP in leading Carmel High School to 2006 state title...one of CHS’s top two scorers in each of his four seasons on the team...two-time all-state selection...holds school record for 84 consecutive games played.

Personal – Aaron Kyle Henkle...born Sept. 18, 1988 in Carmel, Indiana...son of Tim and Rhonda Henkle...has one older brother and two older sisters...oldest sister, Amber, was soccer co-captain at Purdue in 2006...majoring in sport management.
