Biography
2011 -- Played in 10 matches with four starts…Totaled one goal, two points, five shots, and three shots on goal…Recorded his first collegiate goal in UE’s 4-1 win at Belmont (9/25).
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB -- Byrd is one of the top midfield prospects in the nation, and was named both an NSCAA High School and Youth All-America. He was also the recipient of the Kentucky State Player of the Year and named “Mr. Kentucky” in high school soccer. Byrd represents the USYSA Region II Olympic Development Program, and led his Lexington FC to Kentucky State Cup championships in 2008 and 2009. He was named to the 2008 Super Group All-Star Team at the Disney College Showcase, and was honored as the 2009 Kentucky Youth Soccer Eurosport player of the year for his performance in youth soccer and with ODP.
