2013-2014: Ranked 2^nd in the MVC for the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:03.55…Ranked in the top ten in the MVC for the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:06.21… Elected to the MVC Scholar Athlete Team… Named to the MVC All-Conference Swimming & Diving Team

2012-2013: Powell ranked 8^th on the team in the 50 Free with a top time of 25.04…4^th on the team in the 100 Free with a top time of 52.97…6^th on the team in the 200 Free with a top time of 1:58.62….5^th on the team in the 500 Free with a top time of 5:22.26….5^th on the team in the 1000 Free with a top time of 11:04.07….2^nd on the team in the 100 Breast with a top time of 1:05.16…1^st on the team in the 200 Breast with a top time of 2:20.74…1^st on the team in the 200 Individual Medley with a top time of 2:07.14…and 3^rd on the team in the 400 Individual Medley with a top time of 4:42.99

2011-12: Won the 100-free and 200-free at Eastern Illinois on Oct. 23…placed third in both the 500-free and 50-yard breaststroke against Southern Illinois on Feb. 4… placed 11^th in the 100-breast and 14^th in the 200-breast at the MVC Championships… finished the year with five third place finishes in individual events…ended the regular season ranked 13^th in the Valley in both breaststroke events as well as the 200-IM…owned the Aces’ second-best time in the 500-free at 5:19.27.

At Lawrence Central: A four-time letterwinner and six-time sectional champion for the Bears…named Lawrence Central’s Female Athlete of the Year…led her squad to a 49-21 record during her high school career…helped the Bears take back-to-back second place finishes at sectionals in 2010 and 2011…holds four record times for the Lawrence Swim Team…twice named the winner of the club’s ACE award (Attitude, Commitment, Excellence)…member of the honor roll…named an Academic All-American.

Personal: Daughter of Bill and Sally Powell…plans to major in biology or zoology with the hopes of eventually becoming a sports medicine doctor.
