Biography
2008-09: Named a MVC scholar-athlete for the second straight year…held the team’s best time in the 200 fly…finished second in the 400 IM and 200 fly against Eastern Illinois…had two first place finishes at Western Kentucky.
2007-08: Had the team’s best time in the 400 IM…finished third in the 200 fly at Eastern Illinois…won the 100 fly at Rose Hulman…placed third in the 100 fly, 200 fly and 200 IM at Western Kentucky…took home third in the 100 fly and 200 IM at IUPUI.
2006-07: Finished first in the 100 fly against Eastern Illinois…placed first in the 200 fly against Valparaiso and Rose Hulman…set the Aces’ best time in the 200 fly...took second place in the 100 fly against Southern Illinois…finished in second place in the 100 fly against Missouri State.
Background: Swam for Katzir Rehovot high school in Yavne, Israel...Israel champion for 16-18 year olds...first in 100 and 200 fly...third in 400 IM and 50 fly...placed fourth at the World Maccabia games in the 200 fly.
Personal: Daughter of Benjamin and Ofra Sekely...majoring in psychology.
