2010-11: Named to the Capital One Academic All-American At-Large third team...named to the Capital One Academic All-District At-Large first team...notched three Top-10 finishes at the MVC Championship, including second place in the 200-free and third in the 500-free...finished her career with three UE records (500-, 1000- and 1650-free)...recipient of the MVC Elite 18 Award...won 14 individual events on the season...held UE's best time and ranked in the MVC's Top 10 in five events...finalist for the Ida Stieler Award (UE's most outstanding female athlete)...named first-team All-MVC...MVC Scholar-Athlete selection

2009-10: Named All-MVC Honorable Mention and Scholar-Athlete…won her second CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District At-Large second team selection… had the team’s best times in the 500, 1000 and 1650 free…MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Week…won seven individual events throughout the season, including the 500 and 1650 free at the IUPUI Invites…placed ninth in the 200, 500 and 1650 free finals at MVC Championships.

2008-09: Named first team all-MVC…MVC scholar-athlete selection… CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine's Academic All-District At-Large second team…broke three records previously held by Kim Dodson (’00-02) including the 500 free, 1000 free and 1650 free…held the Aces’ best times in the 200 free, 500 free, 1000 free, 1650 free, and 100 breast… had one of the Aces’ highest finishes at the MVC Championships with a third place finish in the 1650 free…also placed fifth in the 500 free and ninth in the 200 free at the conference championships…placed third in the 1000 free against No. 23 Kansas.

2007-08: Held the Aces’ best times in the 200, 500, 1000, and 1650 free and the 100 and 200 breast…held the fastest time in the MVC for the 1000 free and the second best time in the 1650 free…MVC Swimmer of the Week in January for setting a new pool record at Rose Hulman in the 200 IM…won the 200 free at Butler…finished first in the 500 and 1000 free at Illinois State…swam to a first place finish in the 500 and 1000 free and the 100 breast against IUPUI…won the 1650 free at Southern Illinois.

At Robbinsdale Cooper: Lettered four years in swimming and diving…holds school record as part of the 400 freestyle relay and 200 freestyle relay teams…holds individual school record for the 200 freestyle…was an all-conference selection three times… team MVP three times…section 2A swimmer of the meet in 2006…received the Heidi (Raasch) Oquist Award in 2006.

 Personal: Daughter of Steve Schmidgall and Deb Wensman…majoring in athletic training.
