Joined the Aces on February 4, 2022 as an assistant coach.
Prior to his arrival at UE, Holifield began his coaching career as the Goalkeeper Coach at his alma mater, Belmont Abbey College, in North Carolina. He then took on a role as a full-time Assistant Coach in 2020, and while continuing to work with All-Region goalkeepers, he assisted in the execution of daily training and fitness sessions, video breakdown and scouting reports, and recruiting coordination. In the Spring of 2021, under Coach John Keating, Holifield helped guide the Crusaders to their first Conference Championship in 16 years, followed up by another Conference Semifinal appearance the following Fall.
As a player, Holifield was a two-time program Captain, earning All-Conference honors as a goalkeeper in 2017. During this time, he helped Belmont Abbey to their best two Conference Carolinas regular season finishes in over a decade, finishing 3rd in 2017, and 2nd in 2018.
Originally from Arkansas, Holifield then lived much of his young life in Jessamine County, Kentucky. He went on to earn his BA in Business Management at Belmont Abbey College, and is currently pursuing his MS in Leadership at UE.
