Prep: A native of Manchester, England, Weir joins the Aces after competing for Northwich 1874 U21s during the 2018/19 season. With Northwich 1874 U21, Weir played in 16 games, scoring three goals this season. Prior to playing for Northwich 1874 U21, Weir competed for Northwich Victoria, Chester FC, and Wigan Athletics. While with Chester FC, Weir and his club side captured the North West U18 Boys Cup championship. On the prep side, Weir played for The Grange School, a side where he was honored as soccer player of the year.

Personal: Son of David and Fiona Weir. David is a UE Athletic Hall of Famer and was named all-American as a member of Evansville's men's soccer team (1989-90) before going on to a professional career that featured stops at Falkirk (1992-96), Heart of Midlothian (1996-99), EVerton (1999-2007), and Rangers (2007-12).
