2009 – Honorable Mention All-Missouri Valley Conference...MVC Defensive Player of the Week Oct. 19 following a 3-1 win over Bradley and 1-1 draw with Creighton...ranked #3 in MVC in goals allowed (1.10) and save percentage (.750)...started every match, and played all but 45 minutes during the season...posted shutouts against UNC Greensboro, Western Michigan, IUPUI, Eastern Illinois and Drake...made a career-high seven saves in 4-1 win over Xavier.

2008 – Played a total of 180 minutes as a freshman, backing up Alec Dufty...played all 90 minutes and picked up the 1-0 shutout over North Florida on Sept. 12, making four saves...also played the entire contest against #6 and eventual national champion Maryland, giving up four goals and making three saves in a 4-0 loss.

High School/Club – Member of the US Soccer youth national team pools at the Under-15 and Under-17 age groups...regular participant with the USYSA Region II ODP team...named to the Interregional All-Star team in 2006...played in the Adidas Elite Soccer Program (ESP) in 2006 and 2007, and was named as an All-Star in 2007...traveled with the Adidas ESP All-Star team on a trip to England in 2007...chosen as the 2007 North Dakota Outstanding Senior Athlete after leading Jamestown to the state tourney.

Personal – Phillip J. Boerger...born June 21, 1990 in Jamestown, N.D...son of Tom and Lisa Boerger..has one younger sister, Andrea...majoring in sport management.
