Biography

At Evansville: Ashli Senff is the lone senior on this year’s UE squad...One of the MVC’s most athletic guards...Known for her defense, Senff developed into a consistent scoring threat for UE during the final half of last season...Underwent successful ankle surgery during the summer, and returns healthy with hopes of battling for a starting spot at guard. 2005-2006: Senff battled ankle problems to play in 26 of UE’s 29 games, with five starts...Ranked fourth on the team in total scoring with 147 points (5.7 ppg)...Also ranked third on the team in steals (32) and free throws made (48)...Shot 41.2 percent from the field and 77.4 percent from the free throw line on the season...Ranked eighth in the MVC in free throw percentage in league play at 81.4 percent...Also ranked 14th in the MVC with 1.4 steals per game in league play...Scored a career-high 15 points to help UE to a 77-73 overtime victory over Wichita State in the first round of the MVC Tournament (3/10)...Averaged 10.5 ppg on 54.5 percent shooting from the floor in MVC Tournament play...Also reached double-figures in scoring at Drake (11 pts--2/17), vs. Southern Illinois (10 pts--1/28), and at Butler (10 pts--12/19)...Grabbed a career-high seven rebounds vs. Bradley (1/5)...Also dished out a career-high five assists against no turnovers vs. Central Arkansas (12/21)...Averaged 7.1 ppg on 55.6 percent shooting from the floor over UE’s final 10 games. 2004-2005: Played in all 28 games as a reserve guard...Averaged 3.9 points and 2.2 rebounds per game...Ranked fifth on the team with 31 steals...Also registered eight blocked shots on the year, despite being 5’9...Scored a season-high 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting from the floor, including 2-of-2 from long range, at Missouri (11/30)...Also scored 10 points vs. Ball State (12/12)...Had seven points and three rebounds in UE’s 63-61 victory over eventual Postseason WNIT champion Missouri State (2/3)...Swiped a career-high five steals vs. Drake (12/31)...Recorded multiple-steal games nine different times, including swiping three vs. Northern Iowa in the first round of the MVC Tournament (3/10). 2003-2004: Saw action in six contests off of the UE bench as a freshman...Averaged 1.3 points and 0.3 rebounds per game...Slowed in the early portion of the season by a concussion suffered in practice...Scored her first three points as a Purple Ace and blocked her first shot at NCAA Tournament-bound Marquette (11/25)...Scored a season-high five points at MVC champion, Missouri State (2/19).
