2009-10:  Hawkins played in 21 of UE’s 30 games as a reserve guard...Averaged 6.6 minutes per game at both the point guard and shooting guard positions as a freshman...Averaged 1.3 points per game...Saw action in 14 of UE’s 18 MVC contests, while averaging 4.2 minutes per game...Had a season-high 11 points vs. Samford on perfect 3-of-3 shooting from three-point range (11/15)...Also had eight points against Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the season-opener...Opened the year hitting six of her first 10 three-point attempts...Also hit a three in her MVC debut at Southern Illinois (1/2)...Finished the season ranked seventh on the team in three-point field goal makes with seven triples in 27 attempts...Scored 19 of her 27 points on the season at Roberts Stadium.

At Bucyrus:  One of the top shooters in Ohio high school girls basketball history...Ranks among Ohio’s career leaders in three-point field goals made (16th--224), three-point field goal percentage (20th--38.2 percent), and free throw accuracy (sixth--83.0 percent)...Earned honorable mention all-state honors as a senior, while averaging 14.5 points per game...A three-time all-Ohio selection overall...Cracked the 1,000-point barrier in her career as a junior...Named an Ohio Girls Basketball Report All-Star as a sophomore...Shot 43.2 percent from three-point range and 85.7 percent from the free throw line in 2007...Helped Bucyrus go from an 0-20 squad the year before her arrival to a two-time sectional championship team...Holds seven school records at Bucyrus...Hit seven three-pointers in a game twice during her high school career...Also lettered four years in softball, three years in cross country, and one year in volleyball for the Redmen...Helped the Ohio Glory A.A.U. team win the Michael T. Why UE?:  I chose UE because of the prestigious nursing program and the beautiful campus.  I also felt a strong connection with the coaches and players, so I knew this is where I belonged.
