Biography

At Evansville:  Courtney Felke will begin her fourth and final year in UE's backcourt this season...One of the top shooters in UE history...Already ranks sixth all-time at UE with 133 career three-point field goals made...Will also likely rank among UE's career leaders in free throw percentage...Possesses strong ball-handling skills and great court vision.

2006-2007:  Earned honorable mention all-MVC status after averaging 10.0 points per game...Started all 31 games...Ranked in the nation's Top 100 in both three-point field goal accuracy (58th-35.8 percent) and three-point field goals per game (98th-2.0)...Led UE with 62 three-point field goals, the fifth-highest single-season total in school history...Ranked third in the MVC in steals per game (1.8)...16 double-figure scoring games, including 11 in MVC play...Scored a career-high 26 points vs. Butler (12/6) on 6-of-11 shooting from three-point range...Also had 20 points at Indiana (11/30)...Hit a game-winning lay-up with 0.2 seconds left at Indiana State (2/4)...Made at least one three-pointer in 24 of UE's 31 games...Dished out a career-high eight assists twice, including vs. Drake in the MVC Tournament (3/10)...Swiped at least one steal in 29 of UE's 31 games.

2005-2006:  One of only three UE players to play in all 29 games, with 12 starts...Third on the team in scoring at 7.7 points per game...Ranked 11th in the MVC in three-point field goals per game (1.45)...Scored in double-figures in five of UE's last nine games and nine times overall...Had a season-high 24 points at MVC regular-season champion Indiana State (3/4)...Hit for 19 points at Missouri State (1/14)...Also had 18 points at Creighton (2/19) and 17 points in her first career start against Postseason WNIT runner-up Marquette (11/18)...Averaged 11.0 ppg over UE's final nine contests...Made at least one three-pointer in 19 of UE's 29 games.

2004-2005:  Played in 26 of UE's 28 games as a reserve guard...Averaged 4.1 points and 1.9 assists per game...Ranked second among MVC freshmen in three-point field goals made...Scored a season-high 18 points at Missouri (11/30)...Also reached double-figures with 12 points at Illinois State (1/27)...Hit a game-winning three-point basket with 0.3 seconds to play in UE's 63-61 victory over eventual Postseason WNIT champion Missouri State (2/3)...Hit at least one three-point field goal in 18 of her 26 games...Toured Turkey over the summer while playing with the Basketball Travelers.

At Rochester:
  A 2004 Indiana All-Star guard...Third in the voting for Indiana Miss Basketball as a senior...A first-team all-state selection by the Associated Press...Averaged 22.3 points, 6.3 assists, and 4.9 steals per game...Led the Zebras to a class 2A state title...Won the Patricia Roy Mental Attitude Award...Compiled a high school record of 84-12...Holds Rochester's records for career scoring and  assists...Finished with 1,707 career points...Set a school single-game scoring record with 40 points against Garrett in the semi-state finals...Lettered four years each in basketball and volleyball...An all-state selection in volleyball as well.

Personal:  Courtney Lynn Felke...Born April 5, 1986...Daughter of Jim and Katie Felke...Has two brothers, Chris and Kyle, and two sisters, Michele and Carey...A cousin of NFL quarterback Drew Henson...Recruited by Indiana State, Central Michigan, Bowling Green State, and Maine...Majoring in sports studies with an emphasis in communications at UE.
