At Evansville: Jillian Palan transfers to UE this season after a strong rookie season at North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Missouri...Will have three years of eligibility with the Purple Aces...An extremely talented post player with a strong all-around game...Will push for playing time along UE’s frontline this year.
At North Central Missouri College: Led North Central Missouri to a sixth-place showing in the 2007 NJCAA Women’s Basketball National Tournament last year as a freshman...Led the Lady Pirates in scoring at 13.5 ppg...Also averaged 7.2 rebounds per game...Shot 58.3 percent from the floor while setting single-season school records for two-point field goals (166) and free throws made (140), as well as free throws attempted (187)...A unanimous first team NJCAA Region 16 pick...Was seventh in scoring in the NJCAA National Tournament at 17.7 ppg...Fifth in the National Tournament in field goal percentage at 66.6 percent (20-for-30)...Named the NJCAA National Player of the Week on January 31 after averaging 20.5 ppg, 11.0 rpg, and 4.0 bpg in two Lady Pirate victories.
At Lathrop High School: A two-time second-team all-state selection at Lathrop High School, approximately 40 miles north of Kansas City...Scored over 1,075 points for the Lady Mules...Also placed sixth in the discus at the 2006 state track meet...An all-conference, all-district, and all-region volleyball player as well.
