Biography

At Evansville:  Kelsey Sperka will battle for playing time in a deep UE backcourt this season...A natural playmaker with a strong all-around game.

At New Berlin Eisenhower:  Rated as one of the top 10 players in the state of Wisconsin in 2008 by the Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook...One of 19 players state-wide to be nominated for the McDonald’s High School All-America game...A first-team all-state pick by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) as a senior...Also earned second-team all-state honors from the Associated Press... Had nine points in the WBCA All-Star Game...Averaged 19.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.0 steals per game as a senior...Hit 45 three-point field goals, the most by any player in southeastern Wisconsin...Scored a school-record 41 points in a 55-45 win over St. Thomas More as a senior to crack the 1,000-point barrier...Named Woodland Conference Player of the Year and CNI All-Suburban Player of the Year in 2008...An honorable mention all-state pick as a junior, averaging 14.6 ppg on 40 percent shooting from three-point range...A three-time all-conference pick.

Plans To Major In:  Exercise Science

Why UE?:  I really liked the players and the campus.  I just felt at home there.
