At Evansville:  Tal Milchan begins her second and final year in a UE uniform this winter...Transferred to UE last season from Lewis & Clark Community College outside of St. Louis, Missouri...A tough, competitive guard with a strong all-around game...Expected to push for playing time in the UE backcourt once again this season.

2006-2007:  Milchan played in 26 games with seven starts in the UE backcourt as a junior...Averaged 2.9 points and 1.3 rebounds per game...Ranked fourth on the team in field goal percentage at 42.6 percent...Dished out 21 assists and swiped 19 steals...Helped UE to a 5-2 record as starter in late December and early January before suffering a deep thigh bruise against Illinois State (1/6)...Had a season-high 14 points and six steals in UE’s 80-71 victory over Radford (11/17)...Also scored 12 points in 15 minutes of play at IUPUI (12/2)...Had eight points and a season-high six rebounds vs. Lipscomb (11/19)...Dished out a season-high four assists to go along with seven points against Portland State (12/16)...Best MVC performance came vs. Drake with six points, four boards, two assists, and two steals (1/18).

At Lewis & Clark C.C.:  Earned third team NJCAA All-America honors as a freshman for the Trailblazers...A two-time All-Region 24 selection...Ranked 23rd in the NJCAA Division II ranks in scoring in 2006 at 18.4 ppg...Also ranked sixth in the junior college ranks in steals (4.5 spg) and 12th in assists per game (6.1 apg)...Named to the regional tournament team after helping LCCC to the regional semifinals as a sophomore...Averaged 14.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 3.7 steals per game as a freshman...Had 39 points, six steals, and six rebounds against Lincoln Land CC as a rookie...Helped LCCC go 43-18 over her two years...Made the dean’s list multiple times.

Personal:  Tal Milchan...Born April 11, 1984 in Rehovot, Israel...Daughter of Alon and Ruth Milchan...Has one brother (Uri, 17) and three sisters (Shiri, 31, Yael, 27, and Shelly, 20)...Attended Kiryat Sharet for high school...Majoring in exercise science at UE...Chose Evansville because of the good academic and athletic programs.
