Biography
2017-2018: Took two top 15 finishes at the 2018 MVC Championship... ranked second on the team in both the 100 and 200 butterfly at 56.42 and 2:05.56 respectively.
2016-2017: A powerhouse for the Aces at the 2017 MVC Championships, she took to the podium three times... she took a fifth place finish in the 100 butterfly with a school record breaking 55.47... additionally, the 200 butterfly record previously set in 2001 was finally broken with a 4th place finishing 2:04.47... also participated in the 3rd place 200 Freestyle Relay... named All-Conference Honorable Mention... named to the MVC Honor Roll.
2015-2016: Earned a sixth place MVC finish in the 100 butterfly with a final time of 56.92... also took a top 16 spot in the 200 butterfly... participated in the 3rd place 200 Freestyle Relay... named All-Conference Honorable Mention... named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team.
At Girls Preparatory School: Lettered in swimming on year while swimming for Head Coach John Woods…Also swam for Head Coach Roger Dahlke at McCallie-GPA Aquatics where she set over 20 team records…Myers was an All American in both 2014 and 2015 and was the recipient of the Sarah Burns Award at the State Championships…Says her best performance was the 100 Butterfly at the State Championships in 2015.
Personal: Daughter of Robert and Leta Myers…has two brothers, Robbie and Daniel, along with a sister, Kaitlin…born in Chattanooga, TN
