2025-26:
- Competed in 10 meets
- Opened the season with 5th place finishes in the 100-back (1:04.86) and 200-back (2:19.41) at McKendree
- Took 9th in the 200-free (2:03.88) and 200-back (2:15.13) at the UE Double Dual
- Picked up a pair of top five finishes against UIC taking 3rd in the 500-free (5:36.09) and 4th in the 200-free (2:04.54)
- Set PR’s in the 50-free (28.75) and 100-free (1:00.01) at Southern Illinois/Indiana State
- Finished 2nd in the 200-back (2:14.77) and 3rd in the 200-free (2:04.93) at Eastern Illinois
- Registered a PR in the 1000-free (10:48.85) while finishing 2nd against USI; added a 3rd place in the 200-back (2:09.75)
- Finished with a PR in the 200-free at the MVC Championships with a time of 1:58.07
2024-25:
- Swam a 29.72 in the 50-backstroke for her low time at the MVC Championships
- Also set her personal best in the 100-backstroke at the MVC Championships with a 1:01.17
- Won the 500 and 200-free races against Wabash/Eastern Illinois
2023-24:
- Personal best time of 201:12 in the 200-free came against UIC/Missouri State
- Set her low time of 5:10.13 in the 500-free at the A3 Performance Invitational
- Posted her fastest time of 2:07.97 in the 200-backstroke event at the MVC Championships
Prior To UE:
- Attended Liceo scientifico statale Salvatore di Giacomo for high school
- Swam for the C.D.S ssd Club Team, coached by Ciro De Martinis
- Competed in the National Italian Championships every year since she was 12 years old
- Finished second in the 400-Meter Freestyle at the Italian Championships
- Won numerous regional competitions from age seven and up
- Ranked as the 837th recruit worldwide in the Class of 2023 by Swimcloud.com
Personal:
- Daughter of Antonio Carrotta and Veronica Cozzolino
- Has a younger sister, Eleonora
- Her father won a medal for bravery as a police officer after saving the life of two girls in Italy
- Enjoys swimming, reading, singing and listening to music
- Plans on majoring in Criminal Justice at UE, with a goal of becoming a criminal profiler
