2013-2014: Ranked 10^th on the team in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:08.33…Set her fastest time of 24.76 in the 50 Freestyle…Ranked 4^th on team in 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:00.81

2012-2013: Melissa Ball was ranked 6^th on the team in the 50 Free with a top time of 24.84…8^th on the team in the 100 Free with a top time of 55.02…15^th on the team in the 200 Free with a top time of 2:08.49….3^rd on the team in the 100 Fly with a top time of 58.14…

2011-12: Integral part of the Aces’ relay teams…helped the Aces finish third and set a new UE record in the 200-medley relay with a time of 1:44.17 at the MVC Championships… also swam on the 200-medley relay team that placed first at the Delta State Christmas Invitational…posted career-best times in all the 50-free, 100-free and 100-fly throughout the season…finished the regular season ranked 19^th in the Valley in the 100-fly with a time of 59.01….named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team.

2010-11: Earned her fastest times of the season in the 50-free and 100-fly at the State Farm MVC Championships…Placed 16^th at the MVC Championships in the 100-fly….Swam her best time of the season in the 100-free at the Delta State Invitational, finishing in 14^th place….Finished the regular season tied for 13^th in the Valley in the 50-free and ranked 15^th for 100-fly.

At Greencastle: Earned four letters for the Tiger Cubs…West Central Conference Champion in 100 fly, 200 IM, 50 free, 100 free, 200 medley relay and 200 free relay…sectional champion in 50 free, 100 fly, 200 medley relay and 200 free relay…IHSAA state qualifier all four years…named team MVP senior year…earned Greencastle Chamber of Commerce Senior Athlete of the Year and U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award of Putnam County, Ind. 

Personal: Daughter of Thomas Ball and Helen Gunn...expects to major in athletic training.
