MARTIN, Tenn. -- The University of Evansville men's golf team is one stroke off the lead after Monday's opening round of the Skyhawk Invitational at par-72 Paris Landing Golf Course. A total of 16 teams are in the tournament.
Evansville's Christian Poling is tied for third going into the second round at 1-under-par 71 and Alex Kopko is tied for sixth at 72. Murray State and Tennessee Tech are tied for first in the team standings at 291, one stroke ahead of UE. The 54-hole tournament continues Tuesday.
