PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – Omar Khalid posted the top finish of the weekend for the University of Evansville men's golf squad at the Golfweek/Stifel Men's Spring Challenge at True Blue Golf Club.
Final Results
Completing the final round with a score of 71, Khalid posted a 3-round tally of 216, which tied him for the 18
th finishing position. He dropped his score in all three rounds of play. Second on the team and finishing in a tie for 29
th was Julian Kiessling. After opening with a 71 on Monday, he posted a 76 on Tuesday before registering a 72 today. He wrapped up the tournament with a 219.

Jamison Ousley and Daniil Romashkin tied for 48
th. Romashkin opened the week with an 80 before following with scores of 70 and 73. Ousley recorded a 72 in the first two rounds before posting a 79 on Wednesday. Both had scores of 223. Denzel Rai matched his low round of the tournament as he completed the final day with an 81.

UE took 9
th place in the final team standings with an 881. The Purple Aces came in one stroke ahead of 10
th-place Marshall. Connecticut rallied to take the team victory. Posting a 281 on the final day, the Huskies defeated UAB by two strokes.

Alejandro Fierro of the Blazers was the medalist with a 3-round score of 207.
