TUNICA, Miss. -- Led by Kyle Reddington's seventh place finish today in a field of 60 golfers, the University of Evansville came in fifth among the 11 teams in the Jackson State Invitational, played at 6,823-yard Tunica National Golf Club.  This was Evansville's first tournament of the 2007-08 school year.

Reddington shot 4-over-par 76 this afternoon to finish with a 54-hole score of even-par 216.  Jordan Cox of Southern Illinois won the event at 4-under-par 212.  Junior Matt Hunsaker's 74 was Evansville's best round today.

UE plays again Monday in the opening round of the Southern Showdown at Birmingham, Ala.
