University of Evansville freshman Hannah Quast had a great opening weekend in her college debut winning four of the six events in which she competed. For her efforts, Quast was recognized as this week's Missouri Valley Conference Swimmer of the Week.

In her first home meet against Southern Illinois at Wyttenbach Pool, Quast anchored the 200 medley team in their second place finish, while winning her first event in the 50 free (24.09), and clocking 53.52 in the 100 free. Quast had three first place finishes on Sunday at Butler in the Aces’ second place finish in the meet. She picked up wins in the 50 free, 100 free, and as the third leg of the 400 free relay team. Over the weekend, Quast never finished lower than third in her events.
