JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—The University of Evansville men’s golf team sits in sixth place after day one of the North/South Collegiate at Jacksonville Beach Golf Course.

 

Evansville’s Matt Hunsaker leads the event carding a 70 in the first round. UE’s Christian Poling (78), Alex Kopko (78); Kyle Reddington (81), and Ryan Linsner (82) also combined for a team score of 307. Matt Kubsch carded an 89 in his first round as an individual.

 

UE will return to action at 8 a.m. Tuesday for the second round of the North/South Collegiate in Jacksonville, Fla.
